Sheng Tai International Announces Major Progress on The Sail Melaka

Phase 1 – The Sail Experiential Central (TSEC) Secures CCC and Prepares for Opening in 2026.

December 2025 – Sheng Tai International is pleased to share significant progress on The Sail Melaka, the company’s flagship integrated development in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Melaka. While construction across the wider masterplan continues to advance steadily, the project’s first phase — The Sail Experiential Central (TSEC) has reached a key milestone.

We are delighted to confirm that TSEC has officially obtained its Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC). This marks a major step forward in bringing the first component of The Sail to life and sets the foundation for welcoming the public in 2026.

A New Landmark in the Making

Phase 1 of The Sail comprises the full development of TSEC, a multi-purpose experiential hub designed to introduce visitors, investors, and partners to the vision behind The Sail Melaka. The building includes:

·         A dedicated Sales Gallery featuring detailed models and immersive presentations

·         Showrooms showcasing the future residential offerings of The Sail

·         A fully equipped ballroom for exhibitions, events, and private functions

·         Retail shop lots to support an active commercial environment

·         A premium restaurant space to anchor the development’s F&B offerings

TSEC is currently undergoing final preparations and interior enhancements as we ready the building for public access next year.

A Michelin-Recognised Culinary Addition

Adding to the excitement, Sheng Tai International is proud to announce that Restoran Pik Wah, a Michelin-recognised restaurant from Kuala Lumpur, will open its first Melaka branch at TSEC. For decades, Pik Wah has been known for its refined Cantonese cuisine and loyal following in the Klang Valley. Its arrival in Melaka will further enhance TSEC as a lifestyle, dining, and cultural attraction.
